That's why you're not seeing certain titles here. You'll see them in my space games area. And that's something else.
And down below, we've got arcade conversions or just arcade-y type of games based on an arcade property, even some of the reboots and stuff, like Asteroids and Q*bert and whatever. These are like the '90s ones that were sort of remade. But moving right along to the flight simulators and flight games in general. Combat while flying aircraft, or UFOs or just whatever. Oh, man, these are some my absolute all-time favorites. I grew up with these kind of games being sort of my first experience with open worlds and whatnot. LHX being one of the very first https://specialolympics2017games.com/. But then I got into the Falcon series and then Flight SImulator and everything like that. I grew to highly enjoy their complexity. (laughs) And that sort of moved on to the Jane's games later on, and then more, like, tank simulators and submarine sims and such, which you'll see down below here in a minute. But not before we get to the flight simulator area. Train Simulator's in there too because it sort of goes with the others, sort of. But, yeah, I love the Flight Simulator series. I don't have the first couple but I've got everything from like 3.0 onward. And, yeah, down below, I have submarine games. These are super geeky. I love this kind of stuff. Because when they go all out and just, "You gotta do this so precisely!" That's really cool to me. And then continuing on to the war games section or as I sometimes like to call "grampa games," because I knew grampas that would always play these, and they were so obtuse and heavily steeped in history, often. And they're great, actually. I'm a huge fan of these. SSI did a ton of awesome ones. I don't have nearly as many of those as I would like to, but I don't run across them very often, so, you know. Moving on to the other room and this is where we got the Sierra stuff. It's special. All of these are... Well, they're not all adventure games. Most of them are the adventure games, because some of the other Sierra ones I ended up sticking in the other room, as you might have noticed. But, yeah, these are the ones that are not only the most valuable, but probably the most well-remembered. Got everything like King's Quest, the original PCjr version and whatnot. Some of their edutainment titles as well. And also moving on to the Apogee and 3D Realms section here, a little bit of id Software, but... Oh, yeah. Some of my all-time favorites. I love Commander Keen! (moans) A little bit of the LucasArts stuff, that's in the next section down below. But, yeah, continuing more of the Apogee and Build engine games here. We have Redneck Rampage, Blood, all the Duke Nukem games for, you know, big box versions at least. These are just... Aw, Duke Nukem. And then the LucasArts section, including a couple of the LucasArts archives. and all of their point-and-click adventures... well, most of their point-and-click adventures and graphical adventures in order. as well as quite a few of the Star Wars games I think I have pretty much everything in their catalog, but a lot of them I just don't have boxed. And over on another shelf here, we have some of my oddly shaped game boxes. Like some of the Eidos boxes that were sort of trapezoid-shaped. Spectre VR, Gabriel Knight. I did a whole video on these if you're curious about them. I love odd-shaped boxes. And down below that, I've got my fighting games, which, man, there's not enough fighting games on the PC, but... I have amassed at least a decent little selection of them here. As well as interpretations of TV game shows and game show-like games or trivia games. And down below that, we have a special section just for stuff developed by Bullfrog. Augh, these games are so good. As well as things by Psygnosis over here, published by and developed by. Some of my Muse Software games Extremely valuable game there in Space Taxi. A Battletech game here which kind of give you a hint of the next section, which is my mech games. We got MechWarrior, Iron Assault, Mech Commander and Heavy Gear. Earth Siege. CyberStorm, Starsiege, all that kind of stuff. It all just goes right neatly together. I love mech games. They're like tank games with legs. Ah, yes, and here is a section that you're probably familiar with if you watched a lot of my channel. Maxis games! At least everything in the big box. I've got everything that they've ever made but not all of it is in the boxes. This is most of it though, and I have a whole lot of other versions as well, but that's...

Today, on REBRICKULOUS were setting off the largest Lego Domino topple ever using over 73,000 bricks, with YouTube's Domino master Hevesh5. The last time we made a Lego Domino episode. It was inspired by Hevesh5 this time, we're actually working with lily and it's going to make it 20 million times better. She has an awesome youtube channel called Hevesh5.
Can you tell us a little bit about it? Yeah I set up thousands of dominoes and I knocked them down and then you get to watch it. So, as you guys can see, we have a ton of dominoes Casinoslots New Zealand. This took over 300 hours, 13,000 dominoes, which is over 73,000 Lego bricks. But what the best part about working with Lego dominoes? Well, probably, the fact that you can build anything with Lego, really people big dominoes, we've built bridges made out of LEGO bricks and it can make a domino line, go from the bottom and then go up a staircase to the top, and then we have string. So a domino it can go from the floor up on a table and then back down, as you guys can see, there's like tiny ones there, like 1 by 3 bricks, you got your standard 2x4 brick. I think this is kind of this is the closest to the standard Domino. The height should be twice the width, so this is about the right size and then we've got some Big Kahuna's. You know like this. 2 by 8, we had another tool that helped us to space them out equally, and we call it a template. You basically just put the Lego bricks in here space them out, and it makes a perfectly straight Domino line. Can you tell them about some of the more high-end tricks we have in here yeah? So we have a zip line in the stamina setup. We have a giant 2d pyramid a spiral. We have sauna mod lines, big 3d structures that make a Lego brick out of the Lego dominoes. I think we want to get started with the top of real time I feel like we should do it before something bad. I am so nervous that I'm about to knock something over all right, so we're getting ready to start as we're building this we built in sections and we had a little fail-safes in place. 3/4 dominoes pays that critical spot. So we went ahead and pulled those out. Just in case bad happened, you'd only lose a part of the dominant line, rather than the whole entire thing, so she's like basically activating this system and then I'm gon na get there hit that first domino. This is gon na come in life she's. Putting in the last safety gap then we're gon na do this thing for real. It'S like we're inside a china cabinet that I feel what we're ready to go all righty, guys, ready, yeah yep, all right, let's count down from five five. Four! Oh um! That'S ready! Oh yes, and over the couch - yes incredible so is that is fine. We can finally breathe. That was amazing, yeah yeah. I think this probably the best things we've done so far, definitely yeah. Thank you. What regulars check out my version of this Tamara topple, as well as behind the scenes on how we created this, and you can check out our first Domino attempt right here and don't forget to subscribe. So what was your favorite part? I love the fall over there. They were breaking, this fall off. Agriculture contributes 40% of climate change. So if people are worried about this problem, as they should be, then fixing America's diet has to be front and center for the two biggest problems that we have today, climate change and healthcare. This is at the center of both of these phenomena and we will not be able to solve it, until we start to address it. - Can you tell us a little bit about what lead you to write this book in the first place? - I've known about the dopamine, serotonin connection for 30 years. I knew about this when I was a post-doctoral fellow at Rockefeller University, cutting up rat brains and studying how hormones effected neurons.
But it wasn't until 2014, when I was giving psychiatry grand rounds at a major medical school here in the United States, and I talked to the outpatient coordinator of their recovery program, who herself was a reformed heroin addict. And, she told me something, that was so jarring. What she said to me was, she said, "When I was shooting up, I was happy. "What my new life has brought me, is pleasure." and I thought to myself, wait a second, this is exactly opposite. When she was shooting up, that's what brought her pleasure, because it was heroin. And her new life has provided her with a more steady, long-term feeling of contentment. So I thought to myself, how often does this happen? And is this potentially at the bottom of why we have an opiod and an addiction crisis? And I've talked with many psychiatrists who have had the same experiences told to them by their patients. About a week and a half after I got back from that trip, I was talking to my sister-in-law. And she used to work the help desk at Pillsbury, before they were taken over by General Mills. People would call in, why they have icicles in their Poppin' Fresh dough. Why the carton would, the microwave carton would melt in the microwave, things like that. And she stayed friends with the people she worked with and they had a gourmet club every year and they would all bring things. And one of the members of her gourmet club said to my sister-in-law, "You always stay "so nice and thin, how do you do it?" And this woman had just undergone bariatric surgery for obesity. And my sister-in-law said, "Well, really, "I just only eat when I'm hungry." And the woman said to her, "Eating for hunger? "Eating is for happiness." and I thought to myself, a-ha. I take care of obese kids for a living and I've heard that story, but it was never so jarring as when I heard this, this discussion and I put the two together, and I said, "We don't know the difference." and indeed, there is an entire paper trail of not knowing the difference. And you can see it on television, on YouTube, virtually every day. Coca-Cola's Open Happiness campaign. Happy hour. Cialis, will you be ready? Add a little stress thrown in. Bottom line, we have mistaken the experience of pleasure for the experience of happiness. And so we continue to drive our interest in pleasure at the expense of our happiness. And you can't undo the paradigm unless you understand it. And the four Cs, are the way to fix the problem. - Thank you for talking with us today about your new book. You can buy Rob Lustig's new book, The Hacking of the American Mind, at amazon.com or a bookstore near you. (upbeat piano music) It actually started early than that. It started with the declaration of independence. Remember life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness? Well, turns out life is going in the wrong direction. We now know that lifespan, average lifespan in the United States is going down for the first time.
Liberty, turns out depending on where you were born that determines your final salary. If you were born in Palm Springs or in Los Angeles, you make more money than if you were born in Baltimore or Detroit, for the exact same job. We've constructed ghettos of our own volition, whether they be inner-city ghettos, or walled ghettos in fancy parts of town. They're still prisons, gilded ones sometimes, but prisons nonetheless. And finally, happiness. Remember that clause the pursuit of happiness? It was said twice. Once in The Virginia Declaration of Rights in 1776 and then re-appropriated by Thomas Jefferson for The Declaration of Independence. - One of the substances that you've written and talked about the most, has been food, processed food. And of course, how this contributes to metabolic disease. It seems like our healthcare system is setup, albeit not the best, to treat metabolic problems, more than to prevent them. Is it hopeless? Where do you see this going? - Right now, we have more money going out for chronic metabolic disease, then for everything else. In fact, 75% of our healthcare expenditures are for the diseases that constitute metabolic syndrome, that is type 2 diabetes, hypertension, lipid problems, cardiovascular disease, cancer and dementia. You add that up, that's 75% of expenditures. Here's the math. The food industry grosses 1.46 trillion dollars a year, of which 657 billion dollars is gross profit. They're making a huge profit. However, healthcare expenditures are 3.2 trillion dollars, of which 75% is chronic metabolic disease, of which 75% of that could be prevented if we could fix the food problem. Bottom line. You can't have healthcare reform, unless you have health reform. And you can't have health reform, unless you have diet reform. Now, Obamacare promised that we could put 32 million sick people onto the rolls. And that we would pay for it, with preventative services, by being able to go to your doctor, you wouldn't have to have the emergency room, which costs 50 times as much. And that's how we would be able to pay for all these people. Turns out, that with Obamacare, emergency room visits went up, not down and costs went so high that three of the major insurers opted out. And that was one of the reasons for the election of 2016 focusing on healthcare. Here's the problem. Obamacare did not address diet. But neither does Trumpcare and neither does the current senate and house bills that are trying to repeal and replace. The bottom line is, until we address the problem of diet, which will also of course address the question of pleasure and happiness at the same time. We will not see an improvement in our healthcare system anytime soon. This has to be front and center. In addition, food is 20% of investment, but it is 40% of climate change. I can remember looking for a house, and my real estate agent was just kind of I told her. I wanted a house foreclosed house in a particular part of how far that all the houses are born for about five hundred thousand. I said what I only want a house for about 150 thousand. I needed this particular square, but it's just like. Oh, I'm not gonna be able to find it. I said yes, she will entropay casino South Africa.
She said well I'll see. I said, you'll find it you'll find it in a few weeks, I'm kind of intuitive too. So I didn't tell her that and so um. Within a few weeks, she found the house and she was scared to call me, but she called me and told me: she found the house and oddly enough in that house, the house had a book in there, because the man who I well the man had passed Away older gentleman that lived there, so there were some things left over in that house, and one of the books that I found in a garage was has something to do with the dynamic power of your mind, your subconscious mind or something like that, and I thought Huh this is interesting. I'M always constantly being reminded that the power of my mind and yes, I did get the house at the price I wanted, which is nice. What you say is what you will receive and I'm always telling my friends, you know if you say you want something for free, be that it. You know, don't put it out there that you know I'm gon na. You know do this at this particular time when you really want it now. You want something right now say you want it now, don't put it off into the future, because the mind hears you and the subconscious mind doesn't take jokes, don't joke with yourself. Don'T say: oh I'm so stupid, because all of a sudden, you start being stupid. I just I say to myself: I'm the most brilliant person on the planet, because what you say up here is what your mind believes. So we have to be careful of what we say if you're in the entertainment business and you want to be, you have to be that person who say I'm the next star whatever, because if you don't and you listen to other people telling you that you're, not Someone important - and I think everyone is important - we all have a role. You just have to choose what you want to be and you have to choose, though you have to make the choice. No one else can make the choice for you, because the mine will open those doors for you and so will spirit. Our minds are so powerful. That'S how God created us. You said I'm just saying: well, you know what do you think if you don't have to do that, I got my quick plan with me. You know my dad loves playing he's like oh, okay. You saw that. What what if you have all the money you need? I'M like I'm just waiting for him to tell me okay, and he did finally and I felt the relief but yeah you know it is. It was just such a great feeling, but this is something that I already kind of knew, but just going through it, the house of it and that's another thing too, when you want to manifest something, don't ask: how just put it out there, don't ask how it's Gonna happen like for me, I just I had several waves of bringing wealth in that just happened to be one of them, but I had other ways of bringing money into my life. That answer your question: okay, yes, hi! So I have a question with all of this: newfound freedom and wealth. Is it easy deciding what to do with it uh at first it wasn't. I was like a kid in a candy store after I got them when you do manifest the wealth that you want. What I say to people, especially when I do interviews, is be prepared. In fact, what I started doing before the money came, was talking to financial advisors, get and good with wealth, which means steady wealth, steady, wealthy people and because wealth will stay around you. When you say you're wealthy talk to lawyers, talk to other people who you, if you have people around you who are wealthy but make friends with wealth, it's important and be comfortable with it. When, if you're uncomfortable with wealth, they won't stay. You'Ll leave you it's an energy, it is definitely an energy hi hi. My question is before you got the children before your mother. If a brother was killed, was there a consciousness within you? That was already in action and the consciousness of what you're living now? In other words, had you paved the way before any of this ever really happened, because I think there are many times seeds have been planted where our our future long before it comes into manifestation. So do you remember your consciousness when you were a child when you were coming up how you felt about children period, you know what you would ever do if something should happen to anybody in your family, and I know it's a big question, but I think I'm Trying to find out what consciousness were you living in at that particular time when you got the children, do you remember what age were you? What age age I was in my they were three and four. I received those two first and then a year and a half later I got the other three, so kids, I do yeah. I had an idea. I was gonna get them and I know I've been on this planet. Many lifetimes, okay - and I Know Who I am - and I have an idea of who I've been in many lifetimes, but I've also been there mom in many lifetimes. Did you see that the social worker was the read? The finances was the problem. The social worker felt, like you weren't doing a good job was. It was the finances that was that the social worker felt, like you, weren't doing a good job. No, she didn't like the fact that I knew how to okay. She looked at how much money I was receiving right and she thought well you're getting too much money you're getting more money than I am and I'm like. That'S not my problem. That'S your problem and I'm like these kids have, and you know they have an issue and I'm just receiving what I'm supposed to get for them. She didn't like that. Okay - and you really answered my question, because what you answered for me is that you raised your consciousness to a lever level higher than what her consciousness was not to have a conflict with her yeah. You keep yourself on purpose, yeah. Okay, thank you to piggyback, with Tommy had said just kind of tip um to piggyback what Tommy was saying in a sense, how did you help the kids cope with the loss of a father? How did how did you help them cope with the loss of a father? How do I help you guys cope, I loved them as much as any person could. I gave him the best that I could with what we had when they would ask for things. I would, if I had it to give, I would do it and, if not, I would say well not yet, but give me a moment we'll make it happen, and it would happen or strangely enough, someone would give us something or it will just show up in Our lives, I always stayed in the positive to make sure that we would have the things that they won't want and we would sing and dance a lot. We love music and I and I and I love being I like having fun it, keeps you young, you know, so she never lied to them. Tattooed. She always told them the truth. Yeah yeah, because lying is the bad vibrations it ages you it makes you it. It gets in your soul and takes from you I'm very clear on what you said about the hundred and twelve, I'm very clear that you manifested that one hundred and twelve by the visualization. My question is: how did you duplicate it? I understand you a won the lottery twice. Is that correct? I didn't like that. I went twice no, but I'm about to win again you Cynthia you're, smiling broadly, and why shouldn't you be? You are one of the richest women in America and also the reason you might be smiling is, unlike so many lottery winners, you've managed to hang on to your cash. How have you achieved this double miracle? Prayer, simple? As that the power of prayer? Yes, obviously, I always good to have a good financial advisor yeah. We'Re gon na come to it more on on how you manage to do this. Let'S go back to when you won cuz, it's 2007 he'd had a pretty tough. Few years before you became a foster mother, five, nieces and nephews. When your brother was tragically killed by a drunk driver and you were really struggling and then everything changed. You won a hundred and twelve million dollars in a California Mega Million lottery. That moment you knew you'd won. Where were you and how did you hear? I was having lunch with the kids and I heard kind of secondhand through my dad. He had told me that I should probably check it cuz. I didn't even check the numbers and decided after a few days. Maybe I should and it with us. I love how happy you are. Somebody looks free one who's end up miserable. You seem like one of the happiest people have ever interviewed. I stri choose to be happy. Yes, I saw is definitely a choice for all those lost free contestants out there. Obviously this huge amount of money tonight somebody may walk away with half a billion dollars nearly. What is the best advice you would give them. Obviously, you've done incredibly well to not squander the money and you've done so much work for charity or one of the biggest philanthropists in America. Now, what is the advice you would give for people to win the lottery and stay happy? I would tell them to live their life. Definitely it would put them in a position to be charitable. That is a great thing to do, because it also brings that same energy back to you, I'm a believer as you give so shall you receive so giving definitely helps, but also get some a really good tax attorney and finance by someone that is reputable. That can help guide you along the way, because it's going to change your tax bracket, it's going to change your life, and so you need to be prepared for those things to well listed, is so good to speedy and so nice to see somebody who's so happy Because you keep hearing these terrible stories about lottery, winners whose lives end up miserable yours clearly has had the complete opposite effect and Cynthia like congratulations, but lated Lee for the win and for managing to do so. Well, with it great inspiration to anyone tonight who may suddenly become a billionaire, that's my girl. One last question: have you bought a ticket for tonight? Not yet not yet. I think I'm gonna let one of my kids go by, for it love the fact. You'Re still playing the lottery. That'S my Cynthia! Oh save this time really good to talk to you. Thank you. Thank you for watching this video, my friends, I hope you really enjoyed it make sure you leave a comment below and please subscribe to this channel. I want to give you so much more. Thank you and I'll see you next time $ 112 MILLION Lottery Jackpot Winner Uses Visualization and The Law of Attraction To Manifest Wealth. Without even thinking too hard, one would assume that the answer to purchasing flood insurance in Florida would be a definite yes. The state is almost an island with most of the area surrounded by water and a small portion of land attached to the rest of the country. Because of the state's precarious position, it really has no protection from hurricanes, gale force winds and storms pushing water onto the land. And living inland would not be that much better either. The width is just over three hundred and fifty miles. Not very wide when a massive storm crashes onto land.
Like other states whose areas fall in the Special Flood Hazard Areas, banks and mortgage companies will require flood insurance on certain homes. And also, like other states, the NFIP requires that those who have previously received assistance after a flood, purchase flood insurance for the remainder of the time they live in that home or forfeit their chances of future assistance. Given the fact that Florida is consistently and regularly hit by hurricanes, it is amazing that everyone does not have flood insurance. Although many people purchase flood insurance, FEMA still urges many more to buy. The problem is, however, that people think about what might happen when they hear weather reports of an impending hurricane. This is too late to purchase in preparation for that particular storm. The NFIP requires a thirty day waiting period before the policy comes into effect so buying right before a hurricane hits will be useless. People need to think in advance of hurricane season and obtain their insurance so that it will be effective when they need it. FEMA further states that everyone that lives in Florida lives in a flood zone. It may not be high-risk but all areas of Florida are classified as some type of floodplain. To encourage all homeowners to take flood insurance, the NFIP offers a low cost Preferred Risk Policy for those living outside of the hundred-year floodplain. (The 100 year floodplain means that in a 30 year mortgage, a house in the 100 year flood zone would have a 26% chance of flooding.) Next to Texas and California, Florida is the third highest state in declared disasters. To put this number into perspective, Hawaii, which is an island, is actually far down the list at number thirty-six. In 2003, Florida was bashed with four hurricanes and one tropical storm. And in years where hurricanes were not declared disasters, excessive flooding was. Other statistical reasons to buy flood insurance in Florida are: - Flooding is typically the most frequent hazard in Florida. - Florida's flat terrain makes it difficult to remove excess water. - Because of the flat terrain, water moves farther inland than it would when encountering hills and valleys. - Rivers can be turned into lakes, as was the case in 1997-98 during the El Niņo floods coupled with extended heavy rainfall. - Small stream flash floods occur in less than one hour making advance warning difficult. - Tropical cyclones pose great problems inland as the water is pushed for miles. In conclusion, one can clearly see that flood insurance is needed for residents of Florida. In Italy, various consortiums regulate the appellations, but not stringently. For example, although there are many Chiantis from Tuscany, the Chianti consortium generally let the wineries sell these wines, even if they don't meet the standard definition of what makes a "Chianti". However, they do designate what makes a Chianti Classico. So if you want to drink an 'authentic' chianti while you are playing online casino, look for the 'classico' designation. This applies to a handful of exported , well known Italian wines.
------------------------------- The last question "How" actually ends up being two questions How were the grapes picked? and/or How was the wine defined? How were the grapes picked? This is a broad category, to be sure, but I felt it needed to be covered. German wines have terms for when the grapes were picked and how ripe they were. Since this is a taste issue, I'll refrain from telling you which is the better designation but I will say that these four definitions are part of a larger definition of German wine which I'll touch upon further below: You'll also see "Eiswein", which literally means 'ice-wine' indicating that the grapes were picked when frozen. How was the wine defined? The Wine can be defined in many ways...below are several terms that should help out. Some are regulated by their specific authorities, others are traditional terms that have no standards to be based upon. German wines Germany loves labeling their wines. You find more information on German Labels than you find on other countries labels. The Germans even tell you how dry the wine may or may not be: Trocken - A dry wine without perceptible residual sweetness. Halbtrocken - A semi-dry wine with a barely perceptible sweetness. German wines also can have determinations for quality (much like the French): Deutscher Tafelwein - German Table Wine. Lower in quality. Made from normally ripe and slightly under ripe grapes. Landwein - Country wine....consider this a superior table wine. Qualittswein bestimmter Anbaugebiete (QbA) - Quality Wine of a Specified Appellation, these wines have to follow appellation laws in order to be designated as an appellation. Qualittswein mit Pradikat (QmP) - Quality Wine with Attributes , only these wines can be given the "Kabinett, Spatlese, Auslese, BA, and TBA". If you see these designations on your German wines, you are getting a perceived higher quality wine. French Wines The French like to list the quality of the wines on their bottles as well. Sometime you will also see these terms on non-French bottles. |
